In this assignment I will be describing different types of logos. There are 7 types or genres of logos such as letter mark logos or monogram logos, word marks logos, pictorial marks or logo symbols, abstract logo marks, mascots, the combination mark and the emblem.
You can have different types of logos in all different sectors such as gaming, E publishing, websites and moving image.
The design of this logo is very basic. It is one colour used against the background. the writing is at a medium sized text of lower case (apart from the beginning capital) with a expanded star coming from the letter (T). The star can be created in Illustrator by using the star tool. The star has been expanded and transformed by clicking and dragging the anchor points. The lines are connected to the star have made many different angles it looks like this has been made on illustrator and they have used the pen, type, anchor point and shape tools with a landscape paper on illustrator. The design of this logo shows its more colourful than the first logo i described this logo is more creative has a lot more drawings to it as it has stem and leafs as a border as well as a background which you can tell its been created with the pencil tool there is a mix of black and white and a shade of grey and they have use the type tool and changed the font of the writing to make the logo more fancy on illustrator.
This logo is well spaced. It has a simple text in a dark brown to a darker bronze kind of colour. The heart or V shape on the left hand side of it is made out of shapes such as an hexagons and rectangles and triangles with the shape tools in different colours such as brown purple and pink. It also has a white background so the writing stands out you can tell that they have used the type tool too type up these letters on illustrator.
i would make this by using the rounded rectangle tool.
In this logo the image is bright and well spaced out theres a different type of font its more like a cube fonted text which is done by the type tool also there isn't to much colour in the logo apart from the darken red background i believe they used different coloured rectangle shapes using the shape tool for the background on the illustrator application
In this logo the text is big and black looks like very shaped with a faded blue this logo isn't very appealing to me i feel like there is a lack of effort in this logo and some audience members looking at the logo may have difficulties reading the typed up word because of its font they've used the type tool for this. it also looks like its been chopped up with a knife tool to make it look like what it is now using the illustrator application. In this image theres a white basic background and big black writing can stand out the writing has been enlarged so the person that views the image can see it clearly as its more thick also the writing has been transformed and rotated up side down. they have used the type tool and transform tool on illustrator
These logos for facebook, twitter, google, wifi etc

Graffiti. ... In modern times, paint (particularly spray paint) and marker pens have become the most commonly used graffiti materials. In most countries, marking or painting property without the property owner's permission is considered defacement and vandalism, which is a punishable crime.

A phenomenon called Graffiti Art
The
phenomenon, which can be observed all over the world today, is called
Graffiti Art. It all started in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the turn
of the late 60's with writers like Cornbread and Cool Earl. The movement
took on very quickly in New York City and names and nicknames started
to appear on buildings, post-boxes, phone boxes, underground tunnels,
buses and finally on subway cars. Taki 183, whose name was to be seen
all over NY, gave an interview to The New York Times in 1971. Taki’s
real name was Demetrius, 183 is the number of the street where he lived.
This young greek boy wrote his name almost everywhere during his work
hours as a messenger. Other well known writers from that period were:
Joe 136, Barbara and Eva 62, Eel 159, Yank 135, Julio 204, Frank 207…

I did some research on graffiti and found some further images. why i choose to do graffiti for my logo is because when i see graffiti on the internet or passing by on certain streets on my way to college i think graffiti is creative colourful big and is just a beautiful image to look at graffiti isn't allowed so its kinda edgy and one of the many reasons why i choose to do my logo like that for example the image blow is from my local area wood street which is 30 minutes away from my house very basic but it was made to represent the street name. These were the images i found which gave me the idea to the final logo i wanted to make which came out like this
As you can see there are some similar features from my logo to these images like the lettering as you can see its big and a bit thick and 3D and instead of the circles you see on the lorry i put stars i have one with colour but i don't think i have the file on my computer. i made my image very close and spaced out because of the sized paper i had i filled in the space with small sized stars.
this was how the image came out when i was done as you can see i added certain colours that i had seen in other graffiti logos/ pictures i've seen i'm glad with my out come on the logo i didn't add a colour to the background because i didn't think it would look right so i kept it nice and simple plan blank white so the letters would stand out close together
